This Easy Gold & Brown 5-Minute Eye Makeup Look Suits Anyone

Eye makeup shouldn’t be so complicated. I’m going to show you how to do 5-minute eye makeup with a few good tips and tricks to help you achieve lovely, long-lasting wear. Let’s get to it!
Tools and materials:
- Eyeshadow palette
- Makeup brushes
- Mascara
1. Apply a matte color
So, I’m going for warmer, brown tones, but feel free to use grey and black if you wish to do a 5-minute smokey eye look. Start with a brown matte color and apply this to the crease of your eye.
Tip: Use a denser brush for more saturation.
Then, blend out the eyeshadow by holding the brush sideways.
With the same color and brush, add a little eyeshadow to the outer corners of the eye.
2. Add a shimmery brown
With the same brush, go ahead and apply a darker tone. In my case, It’s this lovely warm shimmery brown shade.
Apply a little under your crease and on the outer corners of your eyes. Blend the edges.
3. Add gold eyeshadow
Add a sparkly gold eyeshadow to the center of the eyelid using a flat brush.
Tip: With shimmery eyeshadows, always pat and drag with your brush. You can see this technique in the video from 3:30 minutes.
4. Line the outer eyelid
With the same shimmery brown, dark eyeshadow you used for the outer corners of your eyes, line the outer bottom lash line.
Blend the lower lash line with the matte brown eyeshadow you used earlier.
5. Add the finishing touches
I’m taking a smokey matte brown and packing it on the outer corner of my eyes for a more intense color. Tap it on, rather than brush it on, to build up color. Then, blend everything out with your blending brush.
Tightly line your lower lash line with black eyeshadow. I used a very small pointy brush and wet it a little.
Then, do the same technique to your upper lash line.
Add a little gold to the inner corners of your eyes and apply mascara.
5-minute eye makeup tutorial
Here’s the finished look. I absolutely love it! I hope you enjoyed this 5-minute makeup look. I love these tones because they suit most people. You could wear this during the day, or glam it u for the evening by building up more color intensity.
