9 More Ways to Wear a Silk Scarf as a Top
In my previous tutorial, I showed you how to tie a silk scarf as a top. Today, I'm sharing 10 more trendy ways to tie a silk scarf. So, if you want to know more ways to wear a silk scarf as a top, keep reading. The dimensions of the scarf that I’m using are 35x35 inches (90x90cm).
1. Tube top with a bow
Fold the scarf into a triangle and hold it behind you.
Bring the two sides to the front and tie them in a double knot.
Tuck the pointed part in at the back, so it looks nice and clean.
Here is the finished look. I love how the bow drapes down at the front.
2. Tube top
Start with style number one and tuck in the hanging ties.
Now you’ve created a nice, clean little tube top look.
3. Halterneck
Fold the scarf into a triangle, and hold it behind you as before. Then criss-cross the two sides, but this time you’re going to tie them behind the back of your neck.
Adjust it by rolling the back fabric until it looks nice and neat.
Here is the finished halterneck look.
4. Asymmetrical sleeve
Fold the square into a triangle and place it sideways on your body. Then tie the tip at the end and twist it to make a hole, as shown.
Put your arm through the loop to form a sort of sleeve.
This is the finished look, and I’ve also tucked in the bottom of the scarf.
Look how cute the back looks!
5. Asymmetrical sleeve 2
This is exactly the same as the previous look, only this time you just tuck the scarf underneath the top for a rectangular, tube top appearance.
6. Full and loose
Take the two corners of the scarf and tie them around the back of your neck.
Take the corner on the bottom right hand side and match it to the top right corner. Tie the two together with a double knot.
Then do the same thing on the left side.
Take the two knots on the back of each side and tie them together.
Pull down the layer of fabric that is closest to your body. This will create a built-in bra type of look so that way when you move around if your top flies up, nothing will show.
I love the finished look, it's so perfect.
And the tie detail on the back looks very sexy.
7. Bandeau top
Fold the scarf into a triangle, then scrunch up the middle of the triangle. Tie a knot right down the middle and make sure that it’s nice and tight.
Place it around your bosoms and tie a double knot at the back.
Then roll up the back so it looks nice and clean.
Adjust the front, and you have a cute little bandeau top that emphasizes your girly figure. Super cute and perfect for wearing on the beach over a bikini.
8. Cropped halter top
Tie the top two corners of the scarf around your neck, and then roll up the bottom two corners towards your body.
Then tie up the rolled-up part in the back with a double knot.
Tuck the extra fabric underneath all around.
Now you have this cute little cropped halter top.
I hope how open it is at the back.
9. Tube top 2
Start with look number eight, then untie the top and roll it down towards your body.
Take the rolled fabric and tie it around the back with a double knot.
Now you have a beautiful tube top look. In the summertime, when it's really hot, you don't want to wear a bra, you can get away with this top as it is nice and loose.
