Wow! Did you know you can use Elmer’s glue to personalize your clothes? I'm going to show you a fun and creative way to make custom designs on your shirts using glue.

It's a simple process that can result in some truly unique and personalized clothing.

Tools and materials:

  • Elmer’s glue
  • A t-shirt
  • Washing machine
  • Fabric paint or dye
Creating design

1. Design

Use your glue to carefully draw the shapes or designs you want to create on your shirt.

I made some cute little flowers. Be creative and have fun with your design!

Just keep in mind that the glue lines will create a barrier to the dye or paint, so plan your design accordingly.

2. Let the glue dry

Allow the glue on your shirt to dry completely. You'll know it's dry when it becomes transparent and feels stiff to the touch.

Adding color

3. Add color

Once the glue is completely dry, it's time to add some color to your design. You can use fabric dye or fabric paint for this step.

If you're using fabric dye, mix it according to the instructions on the package. Then let the paint or dye dry.

Washing shirt

4. Wash and wear

Place your shirt in the washing machine. Once your shirt has been washed and dried, you can proudly wear your unique creation!
