3 Fun Ways to Wear a Silk Scarf on the Neck
A silk neck scarf can be the perfect accessory to class up your outfit and there are many ways to style one.

Tools and materials:
- Square, silk scarf
Creating a band from your square scarf (for all 3 looks)
1. Start by creating a band with your scarf
Lay it open on a flat surface and fold 1 corner into the center.
2. Bring the opposite corner over to meet the flat edge
3. Fold the edge closer to you downward
This will create a fold that’s roughly 4” wide.
4. Do the same from the opposite side
The pieces should meet at the center.
5. Fold the equal sections together
This will create one single band.
Style 1: The twisted loop
1. Twist twice
Place your scarf band around your neck. Adjust the scarf so that the ends fall evenly on both sides.
Then, twist the tails of the scarf twice.
2. Tie the tails in the back
Bring the tails to the back and tie them at your neck.
3. Perfect
Adjust the scarf in the front to make sure it looks even.

Style 2: The centered knot
1. Make a knot
Start by tying a knot in the middle of your band.
2. Tie the tails
Then, tie the tails behind your neck.

Style 3: The twisted cord
1. Fold the band in half
For our last look, start by folding the band in half.
2. Twist the scarf
Put your wrist in the loop and twist, twist, twist a few times.
The end result of the twisting should look like a cord:
3. Pull the tail through the loop
Place the cord behind your neck. Align the loop/knot at the side of your neck. Then, pull the tail end through the loop.
Tighten slightly by pulling the 2 ends.
Then, wrap 1 tail up and back through the loop.
Now, do the same with the other tail.
4. Tie a knot
Now, tie the very short tails in a small knot.
