Hi everyone. Today, I’m going to show you how to create your very own aloe vera shampoo bars for hair growth.


This recipe is so simple and uses lovely, natural ingredients, So, without further ado, let’s jump into it.

Tools and materials:

  • Fresh aloe vera gel
  • Castile soap
  • Argan oil or coconut oil
  • Essential oil (optional)
  • Container
  • Blender
  • Ice cube tray
Combining ingredients

1. Combine ingredients

In a container, combine fresh aloe vera gel (from the plant), castile soap, and either a small amount of argan or coconut oil (if your hair is prone to dryness).


You can also add a few drops of essential oil if you wish to fragrance your shampoo bars. 


Simply eyeball the amount of each ingredient, depending on your hair’s needs and how many shampoo bars you wish you make.

Pour the mixture into an ice cube tray and freeze it overnight.

4. How to use your aloe vera shampoo bars

To use your shampoo bars, apply them to thaw before use or simply lather them in your hands and apply to your hair.
