Learn how to make an apple pie melt and pour soap recipe. This is naturally scented with essential oils and makes a cute bar of soap.

Just like there are several variations on apple pie spice for baking, there are some apple pie essential oil blend variations. I have several apple pie essential oil blends that you can use in my post.

To make this, you will need:

Start by cutting the soap into 1 inch cubes. Separate them equally between two glass containers. Heat one in the microwave in 30 second intervals until the soap is melted. Then add the mica and half of the essential oil blend. Stir well and pour into the mold. Spray with rubbing alcohol and let sit for 20 minutes.

Then heat the rest of the soap using the same directions. Let it cool for a few minutes and add the cinnamon and the rest of the essential oils. Let it sit to cool until a skin forms on top. Then stir to melt the skin and pour over the bottom layer.

Let it sit for a few minutes until the top layer starts to harden. Use a craft stick to swirl through the soap. This creates a fun texture on top. Let the soap cool for 4 hours and then cut to make 4 bars of soap.

This makes a great hand soap. You can use it on the body, but cinnamon can be irritating for some people. If you have sensitive skin, you can omit it.
