As most of you know I love flannel and Lace. Being that’s hard for me to find both in a shirt. In most cases I have to make my own. So for this project you will need the following.

*Flannel shirt

*Assorted lace

*Scissors

*Sewing machine or a fabric Bond.

*Sewing pins

*Fabric flowers or make your own

I chose these colors in this flannel for the holidays coming up. Also makes it easier for displaying and pictures. A tip I can suggest without spending a lot of money is if you need lace doilies, You can find them at Dollar tree, Dollar General, thrift stores, and yard sales or if you have a grandmother who can crochet you some with love.

I like to layer and miss match my lace. I just feel it adds more character. You can choose to do it however you like.

Here is an example of how I make one of the many flower styles. I do on my shirts, home decor and throw blankets.

I just mix and match patterns. Layer on top of each other. Always adding lace.

I decided to add a little black lace accent. To the bottom of the shirt. To add that little extra something. You can make as simple or over the top as you want.

I did add an fabric flower. That came from local craft store. You can also find on Amazon as well. Here’s the funnel results I came up with. I think it’s going to be great for Christmas. It gives me the wow factor I’m wanting. It’s different, It’s Shabby Chic, it’s farmhouse style, and most importantly. It speaks me and what I love. That is what I want to inspire in you. I to take an “Ordinary” shirt and make it “Extraordinary”.
