How to Create a Glamorous Bridesmaid Ponytail
If you’re looking for a cute ponytail hairstyle, maybe for a bridesmaid look or any other special occasion, follow along with my step-by-step tutorial.
Save a trip to the hair salon and try this bridesmaid ponytail with me!
Tools and materials:
- 2 clear hair elastics
- 1 hair tie
1. Separate 2 sections of hair
Leave out 2 small bunches of hair by your temples. Then separate 2 sections of hair behind the those bunches, like this:
2. Twist and join
Twist those sections of hair around themselves and pull them to the back.
Join them together at the back of your head with a clear hair elastic. Then pull it to tighten.
3. Repeat
Grab 2 more equal sections of hair on either side and repeat steps 1 and 2, joining the hair underneath the first elastic.
Pinch and pull at the twists for more texture.
4. Make a ponytail
Grab all of the ends and pull them together in a low ponytail, securing it with a hair tie.
5. Hide the hair tie
Pull the ponytail to tighten it and then grab a small section of hair.
Wrap that section around the hair tie to cover it.
Tuck the ends underneath the ponytail into the hair tie.
