Brown Sugar Scrub
I don’t know about y’all, but I love scrubs of all kinds. Salt scrubs, sugar scrubs, face scrubs, so heck yeah to a brown sugar scrub!!
Plus most of them are super easy to make yourself! You can keep them simple or add more fragrance with essential oils.
Also, they make great gifts for your family and /or friends for Christmas or other occasions.
For this brown sugar scrub you will need:
- Container
- Brown Sugar
- Oil. You can use olive oil, coconut oil, avocado oil
I’m using dark brown sugar and olive oil with a few drops of peppermint essential oil.
Start with a clean container. The one I’m using is glass and I hope the mixture will stay good for a couple of weeks if I keep it sealed.
Mix equal ratios of brown sugar with your oil.
Add 4-5 drops of essential oil.
Stir.
Add the mixture to dry or damp skin, gently rub into your skin, rinse with cool water, and pat dry.

Is this meant to be used every day or just occasionally? Is it considered a gentle exfoliant?
