Holiday Red Dress

Red is my favorite color to wear during the holiday season. Unfortunately, red is not a color I wear much outside of the holiday season. I used to own more of it, but started to weed it out of my closet as the years went by. There’s not much reason to keep a piece of clothing that only gets worn once a year. Luckily, I’ve started renting items that I know I won’t wear a lot. It saves me money, and space in my closet. Winter is a time of year that I especially rely on renting. Whether it’s a coat, or a holiday red dress, renting in winter is my favorite.

If there’s one trend that I’ve been loving for the past few years, it’s puff sleeves. And when it comes to puff sleeves, go big or go home. I love an exaggerated puff sleeve, and the one shoulder emphasizes it even more. With such a bold dress color and puff sleeve, this holiday red dress doesn’t need much to stand out. During the holiday season though, I always like to add a little sparkle to my outfits. Which is why I decided to pair this dress with a rhinestone headband. I kept the rest of my accessories simple in black so this dress could do all the talking.
