Style a Satin Slip Dress
Let’s talk about a satin slip dress. It can be such a versatile piece in your wardrobe. It can be worn dressy or casual. I’ve found that a slip dress can take you from day to night by just making a few changes.
This slip dress is one of my favorites. I look for slip dresses that are past the knee, but not too long.
I use a small hair rubber band to tie the dress from the inside to make a ruched design to the dress. This helps camouflage anything you may want to hid in the midsection.
Here I did the rubber band tie in the middle of the dress to have the ruching in the center.
You can also use the tie on the side to bring the ruching to one side.
Adding a fitted tee under the dress gives it a much more casual feel. I added the combat boots and you could also add a leather jacket.
I added an oversized graphic tee and tied it in the front. This graphic tee had similar color scheme bringing the look together and added a Jean jacket on top and nude booties.
