Summer is officially here, and it is time to pull out the bright colors, light weight clothing, and your favorite accessories. Summertime is always a good time to show your personality and skin due to this hot weather. But that is not the only thing that is hot! Today on the blog, I will be discussing the hottest color for summer that you should be wearing to all your events.

Did you guess the hottest color for summer?

If you guessed the hottest color for the summer is green, you are correct! Green is such a statement color this summer, and a must have color to add into your wardrobe. How you can start incorporating the color green is by following the type of clothing that is trending for the summer season.

Once you have done your research on trending summer clothing, then you will start adding the pieces you gravitate towards. The main clothing of choice usually during the summer seasons is dresses and shorts. Just like this solid green dress pictured above. This sleeveless dress is light weight and can transition from day to night (more details in a future blog post). If you are looking for versatility, light weight with a bit of sex appeal this summer, then this dress is for you!

Green Shorts

The next choice of clothing for the hottest color for summer is green shorts. Shorts will always be a staple for the summer season, but something about green shorts just gets me excited!

There are many styles of green shorts, but these solid gold button green shorts add a touch of class. If you are a minimalist, adding a statement white top with gold accessories can be the icing on the cake. But if you are more on the bold side, then adding those bright colors will bring you much happiness. Some of my favorite green color combos are: pink and green, blue and green, and orange and green. If you are looking for something subtle, classy, and embellishment, then these solid gold button shorts are for you.

That wraps up our first blog post on I Am Morgan B. titled the hottest color for summer. I am so excited you are here with me, and I hope you enjoyed this post. Comment below and let me know your thoughts on green being the hottest color for summer. Is it a yay or nay for you?! Until next time babe, happy styling!
