As moms and women, we wear so many different hats. From being a mom, working a job/running your own business, being a wife, a daughter, a sister, a member of your church, and the list goes on. So, having those versatile pieces in your closet to maximize your wardrobe are very important as a busy mom/woman. Today on the blog, I will show how to style a solid green dress from desk to dinner so that you can make more use of your time.

Style 1: Desk

In my previous blog post, I talked about the  hottest color for summer that you need in your wardrobe. This  solid green dress was one of the items that you need and is a great piece to transition from desk to dinner.

I like to add black as a starting point because you can never go wrong with black. Especially if you are a minimalist and do not want to draw so much attention at work. Add your favorite black blazer and your go-to black closed toe pumps, and you are ready to conquer the day. I purchased this blazer from my local thrift store for $3.00 and the black pumps by the brand Nine West were on sale at Ross for $12.

Style 2: Dinner

Now it is time to transition your desk look to dinner. After you get off work, your girlfriends or husband may have called you earlier in the day for dinner and drinks. You may not have time to go home due to traffic because dinner is scheduled right after work at 6pm.

The best way to stay prepared is to make sure you pack extra shoes with you or take away the blazer so that the dress is more visible and gives a date night vibe. I paired this look with gold accessories, matching gold heels from Aldo, and matching gold clutch from Michael Kors. How do you like the transition?
