Three Ways to Style a $12 Shirt Dress
Happy, happy Tuesday, my sweet friend. I am excited for today’s post because I am sharing three ways to style a $12 shirt dress!
First things first – the shirt dress comes in nine other beautiful solid colors or patterns: baby blue, red, black, navy stripes, green camouflage, turquoise, rust/orange, purple stripes, and dark gray. It fits true to size, not too long or too short. It’s comfortable, versatile, and only 12 freaking dollars!
The first way I styled this cute pink $12 shirt dress was with my favorite low top plain white sneakers, which are sold out but managed to find similar styles. For a casual weekend around town, I would also consider my plain white “chunky” sneaker by Steve Madden, which are still available in various in sizes. I’ll link that pair here.
The second way I styled this comfortable $12 shirt dress was by going with my square toe nude sandal heels and a chic palm print green scarf. These square toe heels are $30, and surprisingly, still in stock. They fit true to size and will go with any spring (or summer) outfit. I plan to style these with jeans, shorts, skirts, and dresses. If you don’t like the plain nude color, check out the other colors/patterns, you may like them 😉
Since this exact scarf is sold out, I found similar ones that are currently in stock. Both options are under $15 and come in various color options too – I’ll link option one here and option two here.
The third way I styled this cute $12 shirt dress was with my chic vintage-looking jean jacket and my favorite clear studded sandals. Oh, and of course, I kept the green scarf around the neck because it makes it a chic look 😉
Since my original light wash denim jacket is no longer available, I linked similar options: a light wash denim jacket (on sale for $24), a medium wash denim jacket (on sale for $24), and a Levi’s original denim jacket (on sale for $65).
Last, but not least, my favorite clear studded sandals are on freaking sale for $60! They’re by Steve Madden and comfy! Highly recommend them for this spring/summer because they’ll go with anything. Not to mention, I get compliments everywhere I go with them. For a similar pair that costs only $25, click here.
Well, that’s a wrap on the three ways to style a shirt dress. If you have any questions, comments, or insight, please email me at email@example.com. You can also send a DM on Instagram or comment below on this blog post. I love hearing from you!

Super cute! Where did you find a $12 dress? I would have picked up in every color. You did a great job, hope it gets people thinking. Thanks for sharing.
Knit shirt-dresses have always been WINNERS! Styling was fairly basic. What about summery hats, belts, light-weight bracelets, cropped sweaters, dusters, etc. Just saying.
