Those rainy days are frequent during the spring, and it’s sometimes hard to know what to wear when it’s drizzly or pouring rain. Today I’m sharing what to wear on a rainy day so you can stay dry, warm and still look put together.

Rainy days are frequent during the spring, and sometime’s it’s hard to know what to wear…especially if t’s warm outside! So I’m sharing a few outfit combos you can quickly put together if you’re trying to figure out what to wear on a rainy day.

What to Wear on a Rainy Day

If it’s a warmer rainy day, a dress and cardigan is probably a good idea! You might even want to lose the cardigan if it’s too warm, but sometimes an extra layer is a good idea and a cardigan is always cozy. I wore with waterproof black boots, but you could do rain boots or even sneakers!

Rain day outfit idea Jeans and a trench coat

This is a classic kind of rainy day outfit…jeans and a trench coat. Easy and functional. I added a hoodie for a casual layered feel, and a baseball hat for a fun touch. Again, do rain boots if you need them, but waterproofed leather boots work well too!

Rain day outfit idea Leggings and a jacket

Outfit idea number three is comfy and cute as well. Thick leggings that’ll keep you warm, waterproof boots, and a shorter, lightweight jacket (but still long enough to cover your buns in the leggings). I added a scarf for some coziness and warmth, but you could ditch that and just wear a sweater or hoodie underneath!
