Here, I’m going to talk to you about how to style black jeans for different occasions.

I love black denim because I think that it is much more slimming than blue denim and can also be paired with many more things as it's more of a versatile color.

Let's get into the outfits.

Cropped jacket outfit

1. Cropped jacket outfit

First up, I’m wearing a super flattering pair of high-waisted jeans in a beautiful faded black wash.

They hold their shape really well and do a great job of accentuating my curves.

I paired the jeans with a sparkly sweater tank top.

Over the top, I’m wearing a cropped denim jacket that goes really well with the high-waisted pants - the combination does a great job of accentuating my waist.

Moto jacket look

2. Moto jacket look

Next up, I’m wearing a high-waisted pair of straight-leg jeans with a tapered silhouette at the bottom.

I paired the jeans over these beautiful suede pointy-toe ankle boots, and anytime you match your shoes to your jeans, you will make your legs look longer.

I paired the jeans with a v-neck cashmere sweater and added an olive green faux-fur trimmed moto jacket over the top.

Denim jacket outfit

3. Denim jacket outfit

The next way to pair those same jeans is with a denim jacket.

I love this denim jacket because it is a bit on the fitted side and has some cool slits up the sleeves.

Underneath, I’m wearing a long-sleeve bodysuit. A skinny belt with a gold buckle completes the look.

Flared jeans look

4. Flared jeans look

Here, I’m wearing a pair of mid-rise jeans that have a flared silhouette, which is a universally flattering style of denim - the floor-skimming hemline is going to do a great job of making your legs look miles long.

I paired the jeans with a burgundy faux leather blazer that I’m wearing over a velvet burgundy corset top.

Front-seam jeans outfit

5. Front-seam jeans

These are another pair of mid-rise flares that look similar to the last pair, but they have a front seam up and down the front of the leg, which will also elongate your legs.

I paired them with a black velvet top that has a v-neck line, which I think is very tastefully sexy.

Skyscraper jeans outfit

6. Skyscraper jeans outfit

This pair of jeans is called skyscraper jeans - a pair of midrise, straight-leg jeans that have a flare at the bottom.

They also have a slit on the inside of the ankle that allows you to show off your favorite pair of heels.

I paired the jeans with a simple black bodysuit and a beautiful ivory faux fur jacket.

Puffer jacket look

7. Puffer jacket look

Here, I’m wearing a pair of faded black jeans that have a high-waisted, straight-leg silhouette and are a little bit on the cropped side.

I paired the jeans with a pair of black leather pointy-toe knee-high boots as well as a silver puffer jacket that is perfect for wintertime.

Rigid denim outfit

8. Rigid denim outfit

The next pair of jeans is high-waisted rigid denim, which means that they don’t have a lot of stretch.

They will give you more of that baggier denim silhouette look, which, by the way, is all the rage in the denim world in 2024.

I matched the jeans with a simple white bodysuit and an olive green velvet blazer that looks really luxurious.

Wrapped shirt look

9. Wrapped shirt look

These jeans are also skyscraper style, but they have a really cool faux leather detailing up by the pockets.

I paired these amazing jeans with this fabulous satin top in an olive green shade.

I like to style my button-downs more like a wrap top by tucking one side of the shirt in first, leaving it unbuttoned, and then tucking the other side of the shirt in.

This gives you a gorgeous v-neckline.

V-neck bodysuit with jeans

10. V-neck bodysuit with jeans

Last up, I’m wearing a pair of high-waisted jeans with a beautiful v-neck velvet bodysuit, which is very tastefully sexy.

I topped it with my favorite faux leather blade blazer.

Some faux leather pumps on my feet add interest to the outfit.
