My 4 Business Casual Wardrobe Must-Haves!

Business casual doesn't mean you have to sacrifice style or comfort. Over the years, I have become creative with ways to incorporate more comfortable and stylish pieces into my business casual wardrobe. Here, I'll break down my top 4 favorite pieces to incorporate and why.

First is a simple black dress. Seems obvious, but the importance here is to choose one that is comfortable as opposed to constricting. I could sit, stand, walk, (shoot!) I could even run in this one all day and I would be comfy cozy. The fabric is super soft, the faux drawstring waist gives it structure while remining forgiving, and it has pockets! 10/10 would recommend.

A good pair of trousers are a must in my business casual wardrobe. My trick with these was to find a pair that is meant to be oversized. They never get uncomfortable when I sit for long periods of time! Trousers never go out of style so it's important to find a pair that you will be happy with for years to come. I can't see myself ever getting sick of these! This exact color is from last year, but the brand has restocked in different colors. Linking below!

Living in Florida, it gets pretty miserable always wearing pants in the summer. I find that I can sneak shorts into my business casual attire when they are long enough and professional looking. Pairing the shorts in a set with a coordinating blazer definitely takes the outfit up a notch and makes it look put together and professional. The linen is also VERY comfortable and breathable to wear all day long. This set is from 2 years ago and is out of stock, but keep this information in the back of your mind to hunt for pieces like this next season!

Last item might come as a surprise to you, but it's a plain white tee. Yup. I am notorious for wearing plain tees in the office. I'll wear them tucked into trousers (above), with a pencil or midi skirt, or like this with high waisted, wide leg pants. You can easily dress up a tee with some chunky jewelry and killer heels. There's always a way to make a tee look chic, so don't rule these out for your business casual wardrobe! Linking my favorite ever white tee below.
