I feel that a navy blue dress is a quintessential to your wardrobe. It is just like a black dress. A navy blue dress can be more subtle and less formal than black and the right shoes can make all the difference. Get creative and experiment with different colors! Ready?! Let’s do this!

For this navy blue dress, we first pair it with camel colored flats. Very sleek and simple. I like how Earthy this color is. This would work for a casual or semi-casual event.

I love the additional pop of color with these red open toed kitten heels. They are very retro and I love that about them. You will definitely stand out in the crowd with a bright red shoe! It is very fun!

What is more simple than a pair of black flats?! Super casual, this would be great for work or dinner out with your hubby.

In this photo, I paired the navy blue dress with nude wedges. These wedges are a shorter heel than most available. I was so lucky to find these. The nude color really elongates the leg and provides an elegant balance. I hope you found some shoe inspiration for your navy blue dress! Stay tuned and follow my channel for more style tutorials.

Jersey Girl, from the headline, I was expecting the last pair to be navy blue. I like all your shoes but if I had to pick one pair, it would be the nude. As you said, they make your legs look longer.

If I may, could I also mention that in pictures, your legs would also look longer and thinner if you point the foot closer to the camera with the toe pointing toward the camera, and not let it hold all your weight. This makes the leg muscle tense to support all your weight, when it should really just take half. It ends up looking unnaturally thicker. Look at pictures or videos of models or tv news reporters.

    Nice article! Thanks for sharing!!
