How to Style Loafers: 3 Cute Loafer Outfit Ideas
In this style guide, I'm going to be showing you how to style loafers, as well as some casual outfit ideas that you can create with loafers.
Loafers are a big trend for the spring and summer seasons, they're super comfy shoes and I feel like you can pair them with absolutely everything.
1. Pink loafers
The first loafers that I want to share with you are this bright pink pair in a soft suede material. They’re also lightweight making them very comfortable to wear.
These loafers are great if you're looking for something colorful to spike or spruce up your spring outfits.
These also have a nice gold detail on the front. When loafers have a bit of detail on them, you can wear them casually without having your outfit look too boring.
I’ve styled the loafers with a pale pink midi skirt in a satin material. The skirt is in a mermaid style where it's tight on the top and a little bit flowy on the bottom.
I feel like loafers and skirts pair absolutely perfectly together and I love these two shades of pink together.
I added a white long-sleeve top. I feel like these types of tops are great for spring when it's not too hot or not too cold.
I kept the accessories super simple with a pair of gold hoop earrings as I want the loafers to be the most eye-catching part of the look.
To finish off, I added a denim jacket as an outerwear layer as it is a classic staple for this season. I also have a tote bag in the same color as the skirt.
2. Black loafers
The next loafers are a black leather pair in a crocodile embossed print style.
Like the last pair, they also have a nice gold chain detail on the front. Like I told you guys, I love to get my loafers with some kind of detail.
If you're looking for a versatile pair of loafers that you can wear in every season, I would definitely recommend a pair of black ones like this as they're super classic.
Here I’ve styled the loafers with a pair of nude pants and a nude padded shoulder top. I wanted to create a nude base and add a couple of accessories to it.
So, I added a black belt that has a gold buckle detail to it which brings the look together.
This top looks super simple from the front but the back has a nice keyhole cut with a chain going across it. I feel like this is a great top to wear for spring.
For the bag, I went for a Chevron-style bag that has some gold details.
To dress this look up and turn it into a workwear look, you could easily throw a blazer on over it.
3. Caramel loafers
The next pair of loafers I’m sharing with you is a pair of classic caramel ones. I feel like these here are a mix of classic and trendy.
They have that classic loafer appearance and they also have a bit of a chunky heel on the bottom.
These here don't have any type of chain detail to them or any type of print to them but what kind of makes them stand out is the chunky base.
I've shown you how to style loaders with pants and with a skirt. Here, you can see a pair of loafers with a floral print dress.
I know that florals for spring are very cliche, but this floral print is super subtle.
I added a belt to define my waistline. The belt is in the same color as the loafers. A belt is a great way to add an accessory to your look when you don't want to over-accessorize with too much jewelry.
I also went ahead and added a headband that has some pearl details to it. This is another great way to kind of spruce up a loafer outfit. Accessories don’t just have to be in the form of jewelry.
To finish off the look I added a small beige handbag with a wooden handle.
