A Neon Pullover: How We Styled It

Bright colors are making a comeback. Or maybe they never left, they just hid out for awhile. Color is all about mood and nothing sparks joy like wearing a bright color. Some bright colors just have that glow factor and may be a little overwhelming to style. This lightweight knit from cabi clothing (called the Happy Hour Pullover) is a beautiful shade of lemon-lime with bold white stripes and quite a stunner. Since we love wearing it, we have found several ways to keep it on repeat this season.

Keep it simple with medium wash denim, contrast color accessories and a great shade of lip color.

Classic stripes pair up perfectly with a flared crop white jean. Cropped jeans show off a favorite pair of wedge sandals and perforated belt, both pieces in off white for snappy casual flair.

If the occasion fits, switch out the white denim crops for a pair of white cutoffs - a simple swap but changes up the look - add a pair of fun sneakers for more sporty casual.

Same denim color but different stylejean changes the look of the whole outfit. Here the option is a boyfriend jean, non-destructed, with finished hems. Adding a structured tote handbag with coordinating accent color gives this look more polished appeal and possibly more office appropriate.

The bright color contrasts nicely with a darker denim in the cropped flared style that has been popular this season. White flat slides keep it casual but polished, along with a nude-toned textured belt. The front tuck is essential, and so flattering with this lightweight knit.

Another denim style that complements this neon knit is a lighter wash denim in a high straight leg style worn with a single cuff to highlight gold wrap sandals in a subtle snake print.

Ditch the denim bottoms and switch it up with a pair of soft flowy patterned shorts. Solid color shorts would surely work too but keep it interesting with a little pattern mixing highlighting that terrific lemon lime shade grounded in navy.
