Hi everyone! Just in time for the holidays, I’m going to share with you my go-to festive, holiday party makeup look. Just follow along with the steps below to create the perfect, Christmas party makeup.

Tools and materials:

  • Concealer
  • Cream blush
  • Blush brush
  • Brown mascara
  • Brown eyeliner
  • Bronzer
  • Eyeshadow
  • Liquid red lipstick
  • Red lip gloss
Applying concealer

1. Treat any dark spots

Start by applying concealer under your eyes, or in any places that you have spots that you’d like to cover.

2. Fill in your brows

Next, use a brow gel that matches your natural color to fill in your eyebrows.

For me, I’m mainly focusing on the ends of my brows. Fill in wherever your brows seem sparse.

3. Use bronzer for subtle contour

Continue by using a bronzer stick like you would contour. Apply it beneath your cheekbones and blend it in with clean hands.

Applying bronzer

It just gives a little extra dimension to the cheekbones.

4. Apply eyeshadow

I’ve chosen this trio that has an olive tint, which can be hard to find.

Eyeshadow

Put some of the darker brown base on the outer corners of your lids. This adds shadow and dimension to your eyes.

Next, add a glittery shade to the middle of the eyelid. This is how it looks so far:

5. Apply eyeliner

If you have hooded eyes, consider applying eyeliner especially close to the eye.

I definitely recommend looking for eye makeup tutorials for hooded eyes if you have them and are unsure.

6. Apply eyeliner

Don’t forget to apply eyeliner. I chose a brown shade and I’m applying it to my upper lashes.

7. Apply blush

For this Christmas party makeup look, I chose a terracotta shade of blush. Apply it with a blush brush to your cheekbones.

You can also apply a hint of blush down your nose.

8. Treat your lips

Top off your holiday party makeup look with a bold red lip using a liquid lipstick.

Be very careful, working slowly in front of a mirror because liquid lipstick dries quickly and if it smears, it can be hard to remove.

The upside is, once you’ve applied it as you like it, you don’t need to worry about it coming off easily.

Then, once the liquid lipstick is dry, add red lip gloss on top.

Adding lip gloss

I just love the shine it gives to your lips, and it looks extra festive.

Would it really be a Christmas party makeup look if you didn’t do a red lip? I don’t think so!
