Cute and Easy Spider Makeup and Hair Tutorial for Halloween
In this tutorial, I’m going to show you a cute spider Halloween makeup look.
We’re going to be creating a smokey-eye look and transforming the hair to make it look like a spider at the top of my head.
Let’s get started!
Tools and materials:
- Liquid eyeshadow
- Makeup brushes
- Concealer
- Eyeliner
- Mascara
- False lashes
- Lipstick
- Pipe cleaners
- Hair tie
- Bun donut
- Bobby pins
- Comb
- Googly eyes
1. Apply black eyeshadow
Start by applying black liquid eyeshadow to your moveable lids.
2. Blend it in
Now, go in with a makeup brush and blend the eyeshadow in.
3. Apply purple eyeshadow
Next, apply purple liquid eyeshadow in a semi-circle on top of the black eyeshadow.
4. Apply eyeshadow under eyes
Proceed to purple eyeshadow under your eyes.
5. Blend
Next, blend in the purple eyeshadow both above and below your eyes.
6. Apply concealer
Dot concealer under your eyebrows, along either side of the top of your nose, and also under your eyes. Then blend.
7. Apply eyeliner to lids
Line the bottom of your eyelids with black eyeliner.
8. Apply eyeliner under eyes
Then, apply eyeliner under your eyes and smudge it out to create a smokey look.
9. Apply mascara
Next, apply mascara.
10. Apply false lashes
Then, add false lashes on top.
11. Apply lipstick
Next, apply black lipstick to your lips.
12. Add pipe cleaners to hair
Tie your hair in a high ponytail, then grab four black pipe cleaners and fix them to your ponytail.
13. Add bun donut
Now, add a bun donut on top of your hair tie.
14. Wrap hair around bun
Wrap your hair all around the bun donut to conceal it. Then, wrap the hair around the base of the bun. Secure it in place with bobby pins.
Your bun will form the spider’s body. Proceed to comb the top part of your hair to smooth it all down.
15. Bend the pipe cleaners
The last step is to bend the pipe cleaners to make them look like spider legs.
16. Add googly eyes
Add two googly eyes to the bun.

Throw on some spider earrings and a black sparkly top, and you’re done!
I adore the smokey eyeshadow, the thick false lashes, and the black lipstick.
The bun on the top of my head forming the spider body with the googly eyes and the legs coming out of it is just fantastic.
