I had a skirt that was way too small, so I decided to use the bottom half for fringe on my pink shacket that I bedazzeled!

I cut the skirt in half right below the pockets because I am planning to make the top into a purse!

Don't worry, this wont be going to waste.

Then I undid one of the seams and placed it on the shacket to get an idea of where it would lay.

Then I cut the denim in about 1 centimeter strips. I just eye balled it. I don't think it needs to be perfect.

Using my sewing machine, I added the fringe to the shacket following the seam of both.

The sleeves were a bit harder since they didn't fit in the machine so those I hand sew the ends.

Some might find this tacky and over the top but I was feeling it so that's what matters! Plus a little flair never hurt anyone, these days basically everything I see in the stores is gray and tan.. so boring!

My husband said I looked like Macho Man... pregnant Macho Man!

This was actually my NYE outfit!
