It’s quick to make, and you’ll love the smell of this DIY coffee scrub, too. Let’s do this!
Tools and materials:
- ½ cup brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon black coffee
- 1 tablespoon cinnamon
- 1 tablespoon almond oil
- Measuring cup
- Measuring spoons
- 3 drops vanilla glycol extract
- Tea tree oil
- 100ml (3.38 ounces) sunflower oil
1. Prepare your ingredients
Before you start making this excellent coffee scrub, prep all your ingredients beforehand for ease of access.
2. Make the DIY cellulite scrub
In a clean bowl, add ½ cup brown sugar (white sugar will also do) and 1 tablespoon of cinnamon.
Then, add 1 tablespoon black coffee.
Now, for the wet ingredients, add 100ml (3.38 ounces) sunflower oil.
Add 1 tablespoon of almond oil. Almond oil is excellent for its nourishing properties.
Add 3 drops of tea tree oil. Don’t go overboard; the smell is very strong. Tea tree oil is great when it comes to fighting bacteria.
Add 3 drops of vanilla extract.
3. Mix it up!
Now, with a spoon, carefully mix the ingredients until everything is combined. You’ll notice the consistency is wet, but that’s the aim.
Tip: You can also add vitamin E oil to the mix
4. Store the mixture
I got some cute containers to store the DIY coffee scrub, but you can use any storage jar that you have (recycling is great, too).
5. How to use the coffee cinnamon body scrub
When using this mixture, work it in circular motions on your desired areas. You’ll be able to feel the coffee and sugar on your skin!
