1. Make the DIY bubble bath recipe

Add 4 cups of water, ½ cup of castile soap, 3 tbsp of melted coconut oil, and 5-8 drops of the essential oil of your choice to a bowl.

Lavender oil

We’re adding lavender oil. There are plenty of good essential oils, but we chose lavender oil because it promotes relaxation, which is exactly what you want for a night of peaceful pampering.

It’s known to relieve stress and anxiety, as well as insomnia, plus it just smells great!

Castile soap

Castile soap has no sulfates or chemicals like other soaps, and has anti-inflammatory properties, making this bubble bath really good for people with sensitive or inflamed skin.

Coconut oil

Similarly, coconut oil also reduces inflammation while being antibacterial, antifungal, antiviral, and is even said to treat acne. It’s also incredibly moisturizing.

Now that you know the benefits of all the ingredients, go ahead and give them a good mix so all the ingredients blend together.

2. Decant the DIY bubble bath into a jar

Use a funnel to gently pour the bubble bath mixture into a storage jar without spilling it. We’re using a mason jar in this step to store it leak-free.

That’s it! It smells absolutely amazing, the perfect infusion of lavender and coconut.

You can go ahead and use this in the bath, or put some cute ribbon around the lid and give it as a gift to a friend or loved one. You could even add a note to express your love this romantic season.
