How to DIY Conditioner for Smooth and Healthy Hair

In this tutorial, I’m going to show you how to make a DIY hair conditioner with rice and coconut milk.


This conditioner will help you get silky-smooth hair naturally. Let’s get started.

Tools and materials:

  • Rice
  • Coconut milk
  • Glycerin
  • Mixer
  • Jar
Boiling rice

1. Boil rice

Boil the rice without salt and add it to a pot, along with some of the water used to boil it.

2. Cook for 5 minutes

Cook the rice and water for an additional 5 minutes.

3. Add the mixture and coconut milk to a mixer

Pour the warmed rice and water into a bowl, then combine with 1 cup of coconut milk.

4. Blend

Blend the rice and coconut milk until smooth.

5. Add glycerin and mix

Add 1 teaspoon of glycerin to the blended mixture and mix everything.

6. Store

Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 15 days.

Applying DIY conditioner to hair

7. Apply to your hair like normal

Apply the conditioner to your hair after shampooing like normal, but leave it on for 15 minutes before washing it off.
