Easy Hack for a Clean Braided Bun

Hey guys! I am so excited to show you this easy hack for a clean braided bun.

I love a nice bun to keep my hair out of my face while still looking put together.

Tools and materials:

  • Hair elastics
  • Bobby pins
  • Hairpins
Tying ponytail

1. Start with a ponytail

Pull your hair up into a high ponytail but, instead of pulling the hair all the way through the last loop, pull it half way through to create a bun.

Work the hair and the bun to get them to look and sit right.

Tying ponytail

Tug a bit at the hair around the bun to create some volume. Spread the hair in the bun to add volume there too.

Braiding

2. Make your braids

Take the ends of your hair from the back of the bun and split them in half. Braid each half.

Tying braids

Bring the braids around to the front and tie them together with a hair elastic.

Looping and pinning hair

3. Loop and pin

Take the braids and twist them so that they twist at the base of the bun with a loop in between the crossover and the ends.

Then flip and loop the braids over and around the bun.

Finishing touches

4. Finishing touches

You can use hairpins to make sure the braids stay securely in place around the bun.

Then spray everything with some hairspray and you’re done!
