Super Easy Half Updo for Short Hair
Hi everyone. Today I’m going to show you an easy half updo for short hair.
This look is perfect for weddings or special occasions but it’s so easy to create. You can do this look on straight, wavy, or curly hair. Let’s jump into it.
Tools and materials:
- Hair brush
- Bobby pins
1. Find the apex of your head
The apex is the highest point of the head. You can find it by placing a brush or a comb on the top of your head.
Where it lies flat is your apex.
2. Scoop the hair backwards
Once you’ve found your apex, grab that section of hair and scoop it backward.
Secure it with two bobby pins criss-crossing at the back of the head.
3. Cross over hair remaining at the side
While leaving your fringe or any face-framing pieces alone, take the hair that remains at either side of your head, twist it, and cross it over to the bobby pins.
Then repeat this step with the hair remaining at the other side of your head.
Easy half updo for short hair
And you’re done with your easy half updo!
