Happy Halloween! This is one of my favorite times of the year.
To celebrate, I’m going to be sharing three easy makeup costume ideas. Let’s jump right into it!
Tools and materials:
- Highlighter
- Eyeshadow
- Black eye pencil
- Lipstick
- White setting/translucent powder
- Silver nail stickers
- Bronzer
80’s rocker makeup
1. Apply highlight
Apply a lot of highlight to your cheekbones, because you want to glow. Also, add a little bit to your nose and cupid’s bow.
2. Create a brown and gold smokey eye
Using a deep brown and bronzy gold eyeshadow, give yourself a dark smokey eye.
3. Apply liner
Line the top and bottom of your eye with a black pencil liner.
4. Smoke out your liner with eyeshadow
Smoke out the area above and below your eyelid with the same brown eyeshadow you used on your lids.
5. Apply mascara
Apply 2-3 coats of mascara to your eyelashes.
6. Draw a star on your cheekbone
Using your pencil liner, draw a tiny star on your upper cheekbone. Top it with a liquid liner.
7. Apply red lipstick
Apply a bold red lipstick.
A trick to avoid getting lipstick on your teeth is to pop your index finger in your mouth.
Any lipstick that will end up on your finger instead.
8. French braid your hair
Throw two French braids into your hair and secure them with a tiny elastic at the end.
This is a great option for someone who has a last-minute party to go to.
9. Put on the outfit
For the outfit, I went with this cool Rolling Stones t-shirt, a choker, and a black bandana around my head.
Roll up your sleeves and you’re good to go!
This costume totally rocks! What do you think?

Line your eyelids with a frosty, light pink cream eyeshadow.
