Doing hair for Minnie Mouse costume

So, the first outfit we’re making is this DIY Minnie Mouse costume!

1. Minnie Mouse hairstyle

We’re going to make her ears using our hair. Start by parting your hair down the middle. Split your hair into two sections and clip one section back so that it’s out of the way. Brush the non-clipped section up into a high pigtail.

Then, wrap the hair around itself into a bun. Secure the high bun with a hair band and bobby pins.

Repeat this process on the second section of your hair.

Now, add bobby pins to the buns so that the twisted part is facing outward. Then, between the two buns, add a red bow.

And that’s our finished Minnie Mouse hairstyle!

Creating vampire bite makeup

1. Vampire bite makeup

For this second costume, I have a vampire makeup look.

I’m going to show you how to make a fake bite mark from a vampire. Start by drawing two small circles on your collarbone or lower neck with eyelash glue.

Let the circles dry, then apply foundation over them.

Fill the middle of the circles in with dark liquid eyeliner. Then, using purple and brown eyeshadow, create bruising around the circles.

Go ahead and add some fake blood to the middle of the circles.

I also added fake blood to the corners of my mouth to make me look like a new vampire that’s just fed on a human being!

For the costume, throw on some dark, edgy clothes and ruffle up your hair. Your vampire look is complete!

Creating DIY strawberry costume T-shirt

1. Creating strawberry T-shirt

Next up, we have this super cute strawberry costume. Start off with a large, red T-shirt. Then, with a white fabric maker or similar, draw white seeds up and down the front of the T-shirt.

Cutting collar of strawberry costume T-shirt

Next, cut the collar of the T-shirt a little wider. This is an optional step, but I thought it would look cuter like this.

Adding leaves to strawberry costume T-shirt

Use green sticky-back felt to create some strawberry leaves. I folded the felt in half, then cut out leaf-like shapes. I arranged the leaves around the collar of the T-shirt, and then stuck them on.

2. How to style strawberry T-shirt

Style this cute strawberry T-shirt with a pair of green leggings and there you have your completed strawberry costume look!
