Tools and materials:

  • Unflavored gelatin
  • Raw milk (note that raw milk is not available to buy in some states)
  • Honey
  • Turmeric
  • Bowl
  • Spoon
  • Large makeup brush
  • Cleanser
  • Warm cloth
  • Moisturizer
Mixing the gelatin facial hair removal mask

1. Prepare the gelatin facial hair removal mask

These kitchen ingredients have some surprising properties.

  • Gelatin contains proteins and amino acids that help reduce the appearance of wrinkles and stretch marks, and helps brighten up your skin.
  • Raw milk is unpasteurized milk and acts as a moisturizer for your skin. It also contains nutrients that help keep your skin looking younger.
  • Honey helps to detox your skin and remove impurities.
  • Turmeric is one of the main ingredients to actually remove your unwanted facial hair permanently.

Warm two teaspoons of raw milk, but do not let it boil. You just need it warm enough to dissolve the gelatin. Now, in a small bowl add the two teaspoons of warmed raw milk to one teaspoon of unflavored gelatin powder, then mix until smooth.

Adding honey to the gelatin face mask

Add a quarter teaspoon of honey to the gelatin and raw milk mixture and stir until smooth.

Finally, add a pinch of turmeric to the mixture and stir until you have a paste-like consistency. Note that turmeric will give this mixture a strong smell. If you’re sensitive to the smell, you can add a drop of lemon, tea tree oil, or lavender oil to cover the smell.

2. Apply the gelatin facial hair removal mask

Pin your hair out of the way of your face and give your face a thorough cleansing. Press a warm cloth against your face to open your pores and make it easier for the mask to remove your facial hair.

Use a makeup brush and do a temperature check of the mask on your wrist to ensure it is not too hot. Then apply the facial hair removal mask, with the brush, to the areas of your face where you want to remove hair. Stay clear of the very sensitive skin close to your eyes.

You will need to work quickly on this step because the mask will begin to harden. If that does happen, just pop it into the microwave for about five seconds to return it to its paste-like consistency.

3. Peel the gelatin facial hair removal mask

Pull down on the skin below your jawline to tighten the skin and release a corner of the mask. With your fingers, slowly and gently peel the mask off your face, always working upwards from the bottom.

I can't buy raw milk in NJ. So is almond or soy good to use?

I’d like to try this but what else could be used instead of raw milk?
