If you are anything like me, you have a ton of summer dresses! Before you start packing them away for the season, think about how you can take them right into fall! I promise, it’s easier than you think!

Look

Let’s start with this $25 dress from Target! This is a fantastic summer dress to wear right now! The back is open and it’s very light. It’s perfect for a summer night! I dressed it down with these flat sandals from Amazon, but you can easily dress this up with some neutral heels!

Next let’s take this look into Fall! This is perfect for those fall days that aren’t really cold yet, but there might be a chill in the air. I paired it with this neutral cardigan from Target, belted the dress, and added some neutral booties! This is easily a look I could wear into the classroom or out to brunch!

Now let’s take that same $25 Target dress into the cooler months! I pulled a neutral amazon sweater on top of the dress and tucked it into the belt. That’s an easy way to define your waist and the sweater gives it the look of a skirt! I paired it with some neutral boots and a hat to easily take this dress into another season! This look is perfect for an afternoon date to a winery, or even brunch with the girls!

I keep a lot of my summer tops and dresses in my closet to wear with long sleeved or turtleneck shirts in the winter. There are very few things that I actually put away in the winter and I get to wear some of my favorite tops & dresses all year.
