Summer Styles That Will Transition To Fall
Fashion Summer Styles That Will Transition To Fall posted on : July 21, 2022
Summer is winding down and although there is still plenty of hot weather left, my fashion mindset always shifts around this time of year. I start looking for pieces that will be comfortable on hot days, but I also want more of a fall vibe. I found several summer styles that will transition to fall in my last Amazon Prime Wardrobe order.
Amazon Prime Wardrobe is a great way to try on some pieces for free. There is no up front charge, and you only pay for what you keep! Shipping is also free.
This tiered midi dress was my favorite piece from this order. I new immediately that it was a keeper! The small animal print in muted tones reminded me of fall, yet I can still wear it now. Use the link to see all the other color options.
It runs true to size. I’m wearing a medium and it fits me well. For shoes, I chose my favorite braided sandals from Amazon. When fall comes, ankle boots would also be a good choice.
This jumpsuit by Amazon Essentials is really good quality. I’ve enjoyed every piece from this collection. There are so many ways you can wear a piece like this, and it’s perfect for a hot day or can be layered with a sweater, sweatshirt, jacket, or cardigan for countless outfit combinations on cooler days.
I’m wearing a size medium and I would say it runs TTS. It has a nice elasticized waist and does not have any zippers or snaps. The only way in and out of this piece is to pull the arms down, which is a bit inconvenient.
Who doesn’t love a pretty floral dress in fall colors? This is another easy to wear piece that can be styled many ways. Here I went with my classic braided slides, but come fall boots or sneakers would be my choice. I could also see wearing a denim jacket with this dress when the temps begin to cool down.
I sized up to a large and I think it was the right size, although if you don’t need to extra room in the chest like I do you could size down. It has a very loose and flowy fit.
This would be a great top to take to the beach for a walk in the evenings, or you could throw it on over a tank if the air conditioning is too cold. Here I styled it with some lightweight pants and sandals. Mine are from Sam’s Club and are sold out. I linked two similar styles from Old Navy in the widget below.
This is an oversized fit, so I went with a medium and I like the way it drapes. Here it is both tucked and untucked.
Style Tip: When you want to tuck an oversized top, try tucking the hem of the shirt under your bra instead of into your pants as I did in the photo above. This will give the look of a tucked in shirt without creating bulk around your midsection.
I hope you found today’s post helpful. Let me know in the comments what look is your favorite! Thanks for joining me today…Kristin
