1. Add a sweater
The first tip is to replace your summer t-shirt or shirt with a sweater, or just layer a sweater over the top. This allows you to still enjoy your summer maxi skirt in the fall and yet stay warm at the same time.
Tuck in your sweater at the front to help define your waist and add some more shape to your look.
2. Wear a roll neck
The next tip is to replace tank tops with a roll neck. Roll necks add an elegant touch to your outfit. This type of top can also easily be layered under a blazer or any other jacket.
3. Add some tights
You can still wear your summer dresses in the fall; all you have to do is add a pair of tights. Now you have the same cute dress, and no chilly legs. Throw on your favorite blazer over the dress, and you are ready to go.
4. Layer a cardigan
You can continue on with your favorite cami top. The best way to style it for fall is to layer a cardigan over it. A cardigan adds a cozy and adorable touch and is perfect for snuggling up in.
5. Switch out the sandals
In the fall, you’ll need to replace your favorite summer sandals with more appropriate shoes, but there are plenty of solutions for what you can wear. Chunky boots add a chic and cool-girl vibe to this look.
6. Opt for leather
Fall is the perfect time to get your leather jacket out. A black leather jacket is a staple and can be styled with almost anything.
You can also pop a light-tone faux leather jacket over any dress. This mix of an elegant dress with an edgy jacket changes up the look and the two pieces complement one another very well.

Great and super cute ideas!
I do those ideas but I don't have to separate my wardrobe by season. I'm a minimalist so all my clothing fits my clothing storage.
