Outfit Inspiration for Thanksgiving Weekend

Thanksgiving weekend is approaching and that means lots of activities going on. Though the pandemic is still with us, people are venturing out and gathering more. So it’s time to get out of your home lockdown loungewear and start dressing up again!

I put together a few outfit ideas to get you through Thanksgiving weekend in style.

Family Gathering

As families start to reunite, no doubt there will be a few gatherings in your future. Create a casual look in some easy-going pants, such as these plaid slacks. A loose-fitting top, such as a button-down shirt or casual blouse like this floral boho top with bell sleeves says I’m comfortable but still chic. Look for items in warm fall colors to be in the groove of the season.  Shop here.

Thanksgiving Dinner

If you’re getting together with family or friends or having an at-home dinner with the people in your household, you want to dress up a little for the special occasion. This mock turtleneck t-shirt dress is perfect with some leggings and boots for comfortable style. Layer it with a sweater and belt to keep that oncoming winter chill away. And there’s a secret trick this outfit can perform at the end of dinner…

After Thanksgiving Dinner

Remove the belt from this outfit and it can expand to accommodate that massive turkey dinner and dessert you just consumed. Kick off your boots and the leggings and that loose t-shirt dress feels just like loungewear for your self-induced food coma and to indulge in some football-game watching or other family activities.  Shop here.

Holiday Events

Thanksgiving weekend is when the Christmas events really start to kick off – Black Friday sales at the stores, holiday markets and light shows seem to be back in full swing this year.

Plan an outfit with some festive spirit and pull out anything red or green. I added a detachable collar with some rhinestone detail to this outfit to bring in some sparkle to the occasion.  Shop here.

So now that you have some ideas for Thanksgiving weekend outfits, what do you have planned?
