Get rid of greasy hair with this 2-ingredient dry shampoo. Greasy hair can really ruin your overall look.
This recipe is perfect for getting rid of grease when you don’t have time to shower.
Tools and materials:
- Corn starch
- Cocoa powder
- Small bowl
- Large makeup brush
1. Combine your ingredients
Mix equal parts corn starch and cocoa powder. You don’t need much.
You can just use a spoonful of each and mix it in a small bowl. Mix it well until the ingredients are well combined.
2. Apply
You can use a large makeup brush to apply.
Simply dab the powder on the roots of your hair and use your fingers to rub it in.
Part your hair in different places over and over, applying the formula until you’ve covered all the roots.
Massage it in well by rubbing clockwise and counter-clockwise.
3. Save for later
You should have some powder left over when you’re done. Put it in a closed container and save it for next time.
Enjoy your fresh-looking locks!

My Mom taught me to use cornstarch to absorb oils on my off days of washing my hair. I still do it to this day and I'm in my mid 60s. I just put cornstarch in a little shaker, sprinkle in where needed, rub throughout and all is good.
I have natural blonde hair won’t the cocoa be too dark?
