Creating Dutch braids

1. Dutch braids

Begin by creating Dutch braids. Part your hair into two equal sections. Start on one side and make an inside-out French braid.

Secure the end of the braid with a hair elastic. Repeat the process on the other side.

Threading ribbon

2. Thread the ribbon

Take the ribbon and thread it through the first stitch of one braid.

Then, thread it through the same stitch on the second braid. Pull the ribbon through until you have an equal length of ribbon hanging down on both sides.

Lacing braids

3. Lace your braids

Imagine your braids as two sides of a shoe that you need to lace up.

Lacing braids

Begin lacing the ribbon, crisscrossing it back and forth between the two braids, all the way down to the bottom of the braids.

This will create a stylish woven effect.

Tying bow

4. Tie a bow

Once you reach the ends of your braids, tie the two loose ends of the ribbon together into a secure bow.

Adjust the bow's size to your liking.
