Make an Upcycled Handbag With These 3 Unique Designs

The transformation is incredible, too. Whether you have a bunch of old bags lying around or found a cute bag at a thrift store, you can jazz them up easily. Flower power
Glue on some cute and colorful flowers on the front pack of your handbag. Here, I opted for stunning pastel colors that really complement the neutral tan bag. First, lay the flowers out so you can switch and place them the way you want. Then, using a glue gun, glue the back of each flower and carefully place them down on the upcycled handbag. Finally, leave to dry.
Now, you seriously have your flower power game on! Isn’t this just a beautiful transformation? It’s feminine and just perfect. It’s amazing how a simple trick can make upcycled leather handbags look fantastic.
Pearly delight
So, I don’t know about you, but I absolutely love pearl embellishments. Here, I grabbed a couple of maroon, pink, and purple-toned pearls and glued them on this cute suede backpack. For starters, place the pearls to see where you’d like them to be located. I really like using a mix of sizes to give the bag an exciting edge. Nex, stick each pearl to the front part of the bag with glue.
Look how amazing this turned out! Just a few pearls, and we have ourselves an amazing upcycled handbag. The pearls definitely take this backpack to the next level.
Retro chic!
This style requires more of your drawing skills. Here, I drew some snazzy designs on my plain black purse. First, I practiced on some paper, and when I was happy with the designs, I then drew them on the handbag with a marker. Afterward, I traced the lines of the designs with luminous paint, which really gave the bag a pop of colorful delight. I did this slowly and carefully, making sure not to smudge the outlines. Also, give the paint ample time to dry.
This is a simple, retro look. I love how the luminous green seriously stands out against the black backdrop. It’s funky yet still holds a touch of elegance!
