Tools and materials:

  • Clear sink mat
  • Clear cord
  • Scissors
  • Assorted colorful beads
Folding sink mat

1. Fold

Fold the sink mat in half to become the body of a horizontal purse.


2. Weave with clear cord to secure the sides

Cut some clear cord and weave it through the holes on each side of the purse body, tying off the ends.

3. Make a beaded strap and attach it

Make a beaded strap using the clear cord and an assortment of colorful beads.


Make it extra long so that you can have a double strap.

Then attach the beaded strap by tying it tightly at the corners with more cord. Cut off any excess.

    How about in the shower, without the strap hang with hooks for those bottles cluttering the shower floor???

    You could also thread colored ribbon through the slots and tie off at the ends ( leave some dangling) if you don’t want a clear bag!
