Tools and materials:

  • Leather shoes
  • Ziploc bag
  • Water
  • Freezer

1. Fill bags with water

Take two Ziploc bags and fill them up halfway with water.

2. Place inside shoes

Now place the bags inside your leather shoes.

3. Place shoes inside freezer

Place the shoes inside the freezer.


I would recommend leaving them in there overnight as you need to first wait until the water has turned into ice and then give it time to allow the ice to stretch the shoes.

The next day, you can remove the bags of ice from your shoes.
