Tools and materials:

  • Leather shoes
  • Ziploc bag
  • Water
  • Freezer
Filling bag with water

1. Fill bags with water

Take two Ziploc bags and fill them up halfway with water.

2. Place inside shoes

Now place the bags inside your leather shoes.

3. Place shoes inside freezer

Place the shoes inside the freezer.

I would recommend leaving them in there overnight as you need to first wait until the water has turned into ice and then give it time to allow the ice to stretch the shoes.

4. Remove bags from shoes

The next day, you can remove the bags of ice from your shoes.

How to stretch your shoes without the pain

Now, your leather shoes aren’t tight anymore but are stretched in and ready for you to wear. They’ll feel super comfortable and won't cause you any aches or pains.
