Genius Hack for Removing Tags Off Clothes
I wonder if everyone is as nervous as I am about removing tags from new clothes.
For the inside tags, I could just leave them, but sometimes the edge of the tag, after cutting it is really irritating or scratchy.
Plus, I’m afraid of accidentally making a hole in my clothes when I cut off the tag.

Tools and materials:
- Nail file
1. Locate the offending tag
Find that tag that keeps bugging you – it’s probably attached to a side seam.
2. Remove the tag
Do NOT use scissors!
Instead, place the end of the tag flat up against the flat part of a nail file or emery board (not on the edge.)
File the tag by rubbing it up and down over the nail file.
Eventually, it will cut off the tag with a dull edge that won’t scratch against your skin the way a scissor-cut edge will.
