Hot glue and mold is the easiest DIY you need to try. You can custom-make your own adorable earrings with this simple hack.

This is a cheap and easy hack to add some variety to your jewelry collection.

Tools and materials:

  • Hot glue sticks
  • Hot glue gun
  • Glitter
  • Novelty-shaped silicon mold
  • Earring backs
Silicon molds

1. Prep

Pick up some silicon molds. A novelty mini chocolate mold with cute shapes is perfect for this project.

I found one with fruit shapes. Make sure you also have plenty of hot glue and some glitter.

Filling mold

2. Pour

Pour some glitter into the mold. Then fill the mold with hot glue.

When it dries it will be molded to the shape of the silicon.

Adding earring back

3. Add an earring back

Place an earring back on the top of each shape while the hot glue is still wet. Then leave everything to dry.

Removing from mold

4. Pop and put on

Once they’ve dried, pop your new earrings out of the mold.
