I love a manicure with a little bit of detail. It can really elevate your look and set it apart from solid painted nails.
This is an easy and convenient way to add some interest to your manicure.
Tools and materials:
- Round Band-Aids
- Accent color nail polish
- Clear nail polish
1. Prepare
Prepare your nails and pick out your accent color. This is the color you will be starting with.
You will also need a small circular Band-Aid.
2. Paint, peel, and reveal
Press the Band-Aid on part of your nail, leaving a section exposed.
Use your accent color and paint the exposed part of the nail.
Then peel the Band-Aid off to reveal a perfect circular shape.
Move on to the next nail and this time place the Band-Aid on a different area of the nail.
Paint and move on to the next nail until each nail has a decorative half-circle.
3. Finishing touches
Now that you’ve created your accents it’s time to finish off the look.
Use a clear nail polish and paint each nail. This will clean up the look and seal in the design.
