How to Do Heart-shaped Space Buns for Valentine's Day
Follow along with this simple tutorial to learn how to do heart-shaped space buns for Valentine’s Day.
I’m so obsessed with this look!
Tools and materials:
- Fine tooth comb
- Clear hair elastics
- Bobby pins
1. Make a 2 small ponytails
Using a fine tooth comb, pull a section of hair back from your cheekbone upward and tie it off into a small ponytail with a clear elastic.
You can leave out bangs or face-framing hair, if you’d like.
Make the same small ponytail on the other side of your part.
2. Split, tie and make a heart
Take 1 of the ponytails and split it in equal halves.
On the top half, add another elastic slightly above the original elastic.
Then split the new ponytail you just created in half.
Then wrap it around to meet at the base, creating a heart shape.
Use a bobby pin to secure this in place.
Repeat on the other side and your Valentine’s Day heart hairstyle is complete.
