Recreating Pinterest Looks on Short Hair
It can be so hard to style short hair sometimes, especially when it feels like everyone on social media has long hair.
Fortunately, I found this super cute hairstyle on Pinterest that looks good even on short hair! Let me show you how to do it.
Tools and materials:
- Clear hair ties
- Comb
- Headband
1. Pull back one side of your hair
We’ll be sectioning our hair in half, so start with a middle part.
Take the topmost layer of your hair on one side and pull it back. Using a rat tail comb will make this so much easier.
Secure it with a clear hair tie like this.
2. Repeat on the other side
Use the same technique to pull back the other side of your hair.
Remember to leave the bottom layer down.
3. Place your headband
This style looks cute even without the headband.
But, if you want to rock the casual, sporty look, place the headband just a half-inch behind your hairline.
This helps to hide any messy parts, too.
4. Braid the ponytails
Braid each ponytail about halfway down on both sides and tie it off with another clear hair tie.
