How to Make Your Hands Soft at Home With a Simple Home Remedy
During the height of Covid, if you were like me, you were sanitizing your hands every single day. But, of course, the problem with this is that it dries out our hands. I wanted to find an easy solution to this, and I did!
In this DIY tutorial, I’m going to share with you how to make your hands soft. Sound good? It gets better. This DIY only uses four ingredients. Let’s get to it!
Tools and materials:
- Epsom salt
- Organic virgin coconut oil
- Honey
- Extra virgin olive oil
- Mixing bowl
- Shot glass and/or spoons
1. Make the mixture
Start with about four tablespoons of Epsom salt.
Then, mix together one teaspoon of honey with one and a half teaspoons of extra virgin olive oil. The salt will work as an exfoliator, and you don’t want to have a soft exfoliator, so that’s why we’re not using so much liquid for this.
Next, pour the liquids into the salt and slowly mix them together. Make sure that when you’re mixing, you don’t use the spoon to crush the salt because you want it to be in the same kind of natural state that you found it.
Mix it nicely so that it is smooth and without any lumps.
2. Rub on your hands
When using this scrub, don’t apply it really hard; you have to be gentle. Rub the mixture on for about 3-5 minutes.
3. Rinse
Then rinse your hands with warm water. You do need to make sure that the water you’re using is warm so that you can actually remove all of the olive oil. Once done, dry your hands.
4. Rub in coconut oil
The final step in this process is to take about a quarter of a teaspoon of coconut oil, and you just want to rub it in nicely. Again, do not be rough with your skin; always try to be gentle.
