How to Rejuvenate Tired Eyes: 3 Simple Remedies You Can Make at Home

Here, I’m going to show you how to rejuvenate tired eyes with three easy home remedies. When your eyes are feeling puffy and in need of rejuvenation, you can reach for these DIY hacks. They also all use ingredients that you can find in your kitchen, so you don’t have to spend a penny!
Disclaimer: When applied to the skin, turmeric can sometimes cause temporary staining, so please proceed with caution! You may wish to use slightly less turmeric than the recipe recommends.
Tools and materials:
- Cucumber
- Food processor
- Cotton pads
- Containers
- Green tea bags
- Turmeric
- Milk
- Mixing bowl
- Brush
- Washcloth
1. Cucumber cotton pads
1. Chop a cucumber
Grab a cucumber. Proceed to chop it up into chunks.
2. Blend it
Next, place it in a food processor. Add a little bit of water and then puree this until you get kind of the consistency of applesauce or a pulp. Once done, spoon that pulp into a dish.
3. Soak cotton pads in the mixture
Next, you’re going to take some round cotton pads and cut them in half. Soak each of these halves in that cucumber mixture. They’re going to turn green and soak up all that goodness.
Pull them out with a fork and place them on a tray. Then, grab a container that has a lid on it and place all of those soaked cotton pads in that container. Store this in the fridge.
4. Apply to face
When you need a pick-me-up for tired eyes, pull out two of these cotton pads and place them underneath your eyes. Cucumbers have anti-inflammatory properties, and they feel great on tired eyes.
2. Green tea bags
1. Soak tea bags
Grab some green tea bags. Put them in a container that has a lid on it. Add some boiling water and steep that tea for about 15 minutes until it’s nice and strong. Pull those bags out, put the cover on and then put the container in the fridge until it’s nice and cool.
2. Apply to face
Green tea is great at fighting inflammation. When you need to take some of that puffiness out of your eyes, take two clean cotton rounds, soak them in that cooled green tea, squeeze them out a bit and just place them over your eyes.
It’s great just to lay back, relax, and let the green tea do its thing.
3. Turmeric & milk mask
1. Mix turmeric and milk
This is great for evening skin tone and giving yourself a healthy glow. Grab some turmeric and milk, mix equal parts in a small dish until you get a paste.
2. Brush underneath eyes
Then, grab a brush and brush some underneath your eye. Be careful not to come in contact with your eye; you want to go below, kind of where you get those dark circles.
Leave it on for about 15 minutes, then take a warm washcloth and wipe it off. Your skin is going to have a beautiful, healthy glow.
