Repairing items that break and mending garments that need it instead of buying new are very eco-friendly but did you know you can also salvage that shattered make up and use every last bit of it?

Discover the easy trick for how to save broken powder make up + how to upcycle those compacts once they’re empty too!

Grab that broken powder, rubbing alcohol + a spoon.

Break up all of the make up into a fine powder.

Add enough rubbing alcohol to saturate the powder.

Mix together into a thick paste.

Smooth and press the paste evenly across the compact and allow to dry and set overnight.

Use your fabulously (re)firmed pressed powder make up the next day!

This works with just about any kind of pressed powder makeup including eyeshadows and face powders, hooray!

Once the compacts are actually empty, why not upcycle them into fab play makeup for the kiddos with my easy tutorial?

What incredible information you’ve shared! I will definitely remember and try this on my makeup next time it breaks apart. With everything so expensive these days, we need to save anywhere we can. Thank you so much for this wonderful idea.
