Looking for Painless Brow Grooming? Here's How to Shave Your Eyebrows
We all have those off days where we look in the mirror and notice how bushy our eyebrows have become. This is where my tutorial comes in handy!
I’ll show you how to shave eyebrows so they land up looking sleek and on fleek! This is particularly good if you don’t have time to wax or thread them.
Tools and materials:
- Eyebrow shaver
- Moisturizer
- Spoolie
- Scissors
- Tissue
1. Apply moisturizer
Apply your favorite moisturizer on your eyebrows. I’m using a great brand for sensitive skin, as the skin around your eyebrows is somewhat delicate.
2. Comb through
Now, go in with a clean spoolie brush and brush your hair upward.
3. Start shaving
Next, start shaving with your eyebrow shaver. I’m using a shaver specific to eyebrows as it will get all those pesky hairs and give a smooth, clean-cut shave.
Lightly pull at your skin when shaving; this will give you a better finish.
As you can see, I started at the top section and I'm running the eyebrow shaver downward. Shaving from the direction of where your hair grows is a must.
Wipe off the excess cream and hair on tissue paper to avoid buildup.
Now moving onto the under brow section, again, move the razor towards the opposite direction of the hair growth.
Be sure to move around with really tiny strokes. Also, take your time and be careful not to ruin the shape of your eyebrows.
Don’t forget the middle!
When you’re done with one eyebrow, wipe off any excess cream or hair with clean tissue.
3. Trim your eyebrows
Brush your eyebrow hair upward and with good quality grooming scissors, trim the long hairs that are peeking out the eyebrows’ natural shape.
Next, take a cool soothing cream and massage it over your eyebrows.
If you want to fill in your eyebrows, you can go ahead and do that now.
Tip: You can also try shaping your eyebrows with a pencil before shaving them, so you have a guideline of where to trim

Here’s the after picture! I love the results, and this quick fix is perfect for those days when you’re in a rush and don’t have time to actually wax your eyebrows.
Do shaved eyebrows grow back?
Of course, they do. As a matter of fact, they grow back really thick.
That’s why I don’t recommend this method to be part of your regular eyebrow grooming routine because before you know it, you’ll have really bushy brows.
I hope you enjoyed this tutorial on how to shave eyebrows. See you next time!

Shave them off just to color them back in. Sorry, I don't get it.
Using an eye brow pencil to give your brows definition has been around for years. Also remember when grooming your brows to brush them up, never down and then shape the top to the side. If your brows are unruly there is wax you can purchase to help tame them.
