Tools and materials:
- Scrap denim pockets
- Long denim strip
- Rectangular denim fabric
- Denim thread and denim needle
- Scissors
- Sewing machine
- Clips or pins
- Measuring tape
1. Prepare the pocket body
Lay out your denim pockets. These will serve as the main body of your utility belt.
2. Craft the waistband straps
Cut the long denim strip for the waistband straps.
Be careful not to cut into any existing stitches to maintain fabric integrity.
3. Create the first belt loop
Cut the rectangular denim fabric into an 8.5-inch by 2-inch piece.
Fold the sides inward.
Then fold it in half lengthwise, forming a bias tape sandwich.
Secure the folded edges by sewing.
4. Cut it in half to create two loops
Fold the belt loop in half and cut it at the fold to create two.
Fold each belt loop in half and sew the ends.
5. Attach the belt loops
Clip the loops onto the denim pocket, ensuring they are secure at both ends.
6. Sew the pockets
Sew the denim pockets along their edges, forming the primary structure of the utility belt.
Make sure the belt loops are positioned at the top of the pockets and are firmly attached.
7. Create the strap
Stitch a box on one end of the long denim strip to turn the strips into one long strap.

Nice Idea! that solves problems for me when I am running around doing my projects from other rooms in my home. ie (garage to my art room) Thanks!
Good idea, especially since the "pockets" in women's jeans are laughably small!
